What happens to submitted information
Last updated October 5, 2026
Information collected
If you submit a homeowner project request, the site stores your name, email, optional phone number, project ZIP code, estimate inputs and project notes. If you submit installer interest, it stores your business and contact details.
How it is used
The site owner may use the information to respond, assess demand, discuss an installer placement, or introduce a homeowner to one relevant installer. A homeowner request is shared only when the request includes consent.
Storage and retention
Submissions are stored in the site’s database until the owner deletes them. The calculator itself can be used without submitting personal information. Basic request-rate information is stored as a one-way hash to limit spam.
Choices
The site keeps aggregate daily counts of calculator views, brief-download clicks and successful project requests by market. This analytics feature does not store cookies, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, full URLs or form contents, and it respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information separately. Aggregate counts remain until the operator removes them.
The operator may also record a request’s contact method, first-contact status time and reported job or placement value to evaluate service and outcomes.
Submitting either form is optional. Do not include sensitive financial, medical or identity information. To request correction or deletion, reply to any response you receive from the site owner. A direct privacy contact will be added before paid traffic begins.
Third parties
This site is independent and is not affiliated with coating manufacturers, HomeAdvisor, Angi, Google, or any featured installer. Linked websites follow their own privacy practices.
